Chairmen of Investigative Committees of the Republic of Armenia, Belarus and Russia signed joint declaration (Photos)

The first joint board session of the investigative committees of the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation started in Saint Petersburg, Russian Federation. The Chairmen of the investigative committees of the mentioned three countries Aghvan Hovsepyan, Ivan Noskevich and Alexander Bastrykin took part in the session.

President of the RF Constitutional Court Valery Zorkin, Governor of Saint Petersburg Georgy Poltavchenko, IPA CIS Council Secretary General Alexey Sergeev, Plenipotentiary representative of RF President in the northwestern Federal district Nikolai Tsukanov also participated in board’s work.

During the session a wide range of issues on legal cooperation and experience exchange was discussed and on the base of the discussion results the RA IC Chairman Aghvan Hovsepyan, the RB IC Chairman Ivan Noskevich and the RF IC Chairman Alexander Bastrykin signed a joint declaration.

The parties expressed willingness to contribute to enhancement of efficiency of interdepartmental cooperation, as well as, pursuant to the national legislation, to develop new ways of cooperation, to take additional measures to reduce the terms of performance of international queries on legal aid. Besides, an agreement was achieved to contribute to experience exchange on methodology of investigation of investigation of separate crimes, holding joint scientific conferences, seminars.
