By the instruction of the Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee Hayk Grigoryan an enlarged session was held during which the work done in 2018 by Yerevan Investigative Department and five investigative divisions of Yerevan Investigative Department were summed up.
The heads of Yerevan Investigative Department and five investigative divisions of Yerevan Investigative Department made speeches on the work done in the previous year.
The Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee Hayk Grigoryan considered the process of the initiated criminal cases, gave instructions to make them more efficient, as well as to correct the mistakes made by investigators during inspection of the scene.
«Our task is not the numerical indicators, our task is the literate and efficient organization of work. We do not need any artificial indices. Our catchword should be immediacy and quality», emphasized IC Chairman.
During the meeting Hayk Grigoryan emphasized once more the importance of communication with citizens. “Show caring and decent behavior while communicating with citizens”, said Hayk Grigoryan.
Referring to certification process Hayk Grigoryan mentioned that it is a step taken to improve knowledge. “You will have a very strict certification and those who do not have knowledge of proper level will be sent to additional training. Certification process is not a means to get rid of the person, it is a work done to improve knowledge. The improvement of theoretical knowledge of investigator is a priority for us”, emphasized IC Chairman.
Hayk Grigoryan mentioned that subdivision heads are in charge of organizing preliminary investigation. “The head must not be a director. The subdivision head must take steps to help overloaded investigators receiving criminal cases in his proceeding and conducting investigation himself. The head must investigate a case himself to understand the investigator and realize the reality. If the head of investigative subdivision does not perform investigative functions he becomes a director which is impermissible», emphasized IC Chairman.
Hayk Grigoryan gave an excellent mark to the work done by Yerevan Investigative Department and five investigative divisions of Yerevan Investigative Department and instructed the department heads to present the employees, who have best indices during the service, for encouragement.
Turning to investigators Hayk Grigoryan thanked for overcoming the problems with honor. “Go on working with the same diligence and sense of responsibility. The steps to improve the work shall be taken every day», mentioned IC Chairman.
