In the result of investigatory actions conducted in Vardenis Investigative Division of Gegharkunik Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee willful infliction of heavy bodily damage to 44 year-old man's health was disclosed. Charge was pressed against one person.
Pursuant to data obtained through investigation on January 26, 2020 at about 21:30 after getting clarifications on insulting expressions about his late mother in a garage next to one of the houses of Geghamasar village of Gegharkunik province the man, born in 1971, stabbed 44 year-old resident of the same province causing heavy bodily injury.
On the base of the obtained evidence charge was pressed against 48 year-old man according to the Part 1 of the Article 112 of RA Criminal Code. Detention was chosen as a pretrial measure against him.
Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
