A criminal case was initiated in General Military Investigative Department of RA Investigative Committee on murder of a contractor committed by the enemy.
On September 3, 2015 at about 10:30 the unknown serviceman of the enemy, out of motives of national, racial or religious hatred or religious fanatism, in a way dangerous for many people’s life, with the intention to kill fired a shot from a sniper of large caliber towards the contractor Hayk Tevoyan, born in 1975, who was on combat duty in the combat position of protection area of the unit N of RA Ministry of Defense. As a result, the latter died of firearm bullet injury he had sustained on his neck.
A criminal case was initiated in General Military Investigative Department of RA Investigative Committee pursuant to the Points 6 and 13 of the Part 2 of the Article 104 of RA Criminal Code.
Preliminary investigation is under way.
