In the framework of the criminal case investigated in Lori Regional Investigative Department initiated on murder of the resident of the town of Tashir, Zoya Mkrtchyan committed on 27 January, 2014 a number of circumstances of murder were found, the person having committed the apparent crime was identified, as well.
In the result of the investigative and operative-searching measures the resident of Lori region Armen Khanaghyan was arrested in suspicion of committing Z. Mkrtchyan’s murder.
We remind that 63 year-old Z. Mkrtchyan’s body with traces of violence was found on 27 January, 2014 at about 21:30 in her flat located in Tashir.
Preliminary investigation is under way. Measures are taken to provide the comprehensive and complete examination of the circumstances of the case.
Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
