Preliminary investigation of the criminal case initiated in Sisian Investigative Division of Syunik Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee on abuses found at “Noravan Secondary School” SNCO was completed. Charge was pressed against the headmaster.
It was earlier informed that from 2016 to 2017 the headmaster of “Noravan Secondary School” SNCO of Syunik region formulated the electrician of the school as a yard guard, stove burner and guard at the same time and kept the bank card of the salary with him.
Pursuant to data obtained during pretrial proceeding abusing official position, out of mercenary motives, with the purpose of swindling money in large amount from state by squandering from January, 2016 to December, 2017 the headmaster himself cashed the employee's money and gave the electrician 20.000 AMD monthly, the rest of the money in large amount of 1.849.664 AMD was squandered by him.
Besides, through preliminary investigation factual data were obtained on the allegation that in order to conceal the squandering in large amount the headmaster submitted false information on the terms in the employment contract.
On the base of the obtained sufficient evidence charge was pressed against the headmaster according to the Points 1 and 3 of the Part 2 of the Article 179 and the Part 1 of the Article 314 of RA Criminal Code.
During preliminary investigation the school headmaster completely restored the damage caused to the state.
Preliminary investigation was completed and the criminal case with the bill of indictment was sent to court.
Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
