In the framework of the criminal case investigated in Kotayq Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee initiated on murder attempt against 31 year-old R. Khudoyan the cousin of the injured was arrested as a suspect.
 

R. Khudoyan with numerous cut-pierced wounds on her face and different parts of her body was found on March 9 on Mrgashen-Qanaqeravan road and was taken to the medical center.
 

According to initial data the injured had been stabbed on the same day from 17:00 to 17:30 by her cousin who then escaped.
 

A criminal case was initiated according to the Part 1 of the Article 34-104 of RA Criminal Code.
 

During preliminary investigation on March 11 data were obtained on the man’s location and on the same day he was arrested on suspicion of murder attempt. In the result of investigatory actions the motive of the committed crime was found.
 

Preliminary investigation is ongoing. Necessary investigatory actions are conducted to provide the comprehensive, objective and complete investigation of the case.
