Preliminary investigation of the criminal case initiated on car crash that caused a teenager’s death was completed in Goris Investigative Division of Syuniq Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee was completed.
 

On December 18 at about 22:00 a call was received informing that “Mercedes Benz 420” registered in the name of A. Baghdasaryan went off the roadway and crashed the advertising column located on the right side of Yerevanyan road. The passenger – 15 year-old boy died of bodily injuries caused by the crash, 2 more teenagers with bodily injuries were taken to the medical center. It was found that the car had been driven by a teenager.
 

Through investigation it was found that on December 18, 2015 at about 20:30 the resident of Goris A. Baghdasaryan had given his car “Mercedes Benz” to his 15 year-old nephew to take it to the technical service center.
 

On the same day at about 22:00 travelling along the left side of the beginning part of Syuniq street and Yerevanyan street crossroad, according to preliminary investigation data, the teenager breached the traffic rules causing the crash not being able to prevent it.
 

As a result, the car went off the road and crashed the advertising column located on the right side of Yerevanyan road in the result of which one of the passengers – 15 year-old Aren died at the site of injuries he had sustained, Narek who was driving the car and Alik of the same age were taken to “Goris Medical Center”.
 

Based on the fact that at the moment of the committal he was not of the age to be brought to criminal liability a decision was made not to pursuit the driver of the car “Mercedes Benz” for negligently causing death to Aren in the result of breaching traffic rules.
 

On the base of the obtained evidence charge was pressed against the teenager’s uncle – the owner of the car “Mercedes Benz” according to the article 243 of RA Criminal Code for giving the car to a person under 16.
 

The criminal case with the bill of indictment was sent to Prosecution Office of Syuniq.
 

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
