Squandering money in particularly large amount from educational institution; the case sent to court

Preliminary investigation of the criminal case initiated on squandering money in particularly large amount committed by the headmaster of “Jermuk’s Primary School N 1 State Educational Institution” SNCO was completed in Vayots Dzor Regional Investigative Department of RA Investigative Committee.
 

Through preliminary investigation it was found that the headmaster of Jermuk’s primary school N 1 had organizational-managing authorities and was competent to represent the staff list of the school to be confirmed by the council, to carry out the selection of teachers and other specialists, their admission to work and solution of employment contract, to conduct supervision over implementation of duties by the employees of the school, to provide the maintenance of internal working regulations.
 

Through preliminary investigation it was grounded that the headmaster of the school, abusing his authorities, registered the person who did not actually go to work and the salary formulated in her name was squandered for years. According to the investigation data the squandered money is 3.491.851 AMD.
 

On the base of the evidence obtained during pretrial proceeding the headmaster was charged with squandering money in particularly large amount, and the actions of the registered woman who had submitted her documents to be admitted to work, had not actually gone to work but had signed before her surname, were assessed as assistance to squandering. The accountant of the school also was charged with assistance.
 

The criminal case with the bill of indictment was sent to the prosecutor supervising the legality of preliminary investigation. The bill of indictment was confirmed and the case was sent to the Court of First Instance of Ararat and Vayots Dzor.
