As a result of investigative and procedural actions conducted in the Division for Investigation of Traffic Crimes of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee, it was found out and grounded that on September 3, 2026 G.T. drove a vehicle of “Kia” make in Khanjyan Street in Yerevan without having a driving license, having previously been subjected to administrative liability for committing the same offence within a one-year period.

In addition, G.T. committed the same offence on September 29 in Parpetsi Street in Yerevan, driving a vehicle of “Tesla” make. 

In the course of the preliminary investigation of the criminal proceeding, by the supervising prosecutor’s decision, public criminal prosecution was initiated against G.T. according to the Part 1 of the Article 344 of RA Criminal Code. 

A motion to select detention as a pretrial measure against G.T. was submitted to court by the investigator.

By the court’s decision, administrative supervision was applied as a pretrial measure against him. 

The criminal proceeding with the bill of indictment was referred to the supervising prosecutor for approval and referral to court.
