In the course of the preliminary investigation of the criminal proceeding initiated in Ararat Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee factual data were obtained on the allegation that on June 13, 2026, pursuant to the agreement reached, 3 minors met the minor victim at the area adjacent to the church, where complementing one another's actions, hit the latter on different parts of his body, pulled his hair, uttered profanities, videotaped all of that with a mobile phone and posted it on the Internet.

During the preliminary investigation, by the supervising prosecutor’s decision, public criminal prosecution was initiated against 3 minors according to the Points 1 and 3 of the Part 2 of the article 297 of RA Criminal Code. 

Educational supervision and absence ban was applied as a pretrial measure against them. 

The criminal proceeding with the bill of indictment was referred to the supervising prosecutor.
