Preliminary investigation of the criminal proceeding initiated on materially incenting to participate in the rally was completed in Armavir Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee.  

Particularly, G.A. informed several close acquaintances that each of them would be paid 15.000 AMD in exchange for participating in the rally of the “Strong Armenia” party, scheduled to take place on April 11, 2026, at Freedom Square in Yerevan.

As a result, after the rally, G.A. paid several participants the promised amounts of money.

By the supervising prosecutor’s decision, public criminal prosecution was initiated against G.A. according to the Part 2 of the Article 236 of RA Criminal Code. 

Home detention, bail and absence ban was applied as a pretrial measure against him. 

The criminal proceeding with the bill of indictment was referred to the supervising prosecutor.
