The heads of the territorial subdivisions of the RA Investigative Committee participated in a training course in Shanghai titled "Combating Cybercrime for Armenia," organized by the Ministry of Public Security of the People's Republic of China.

As part of the training course, the members of the delegation were presented with lectures on Chinese experience and results in combating financial terrorism, countering money laundering, fighting cybercrime, as well as electronic data examination technology and methodology.

Given that the team members, in the units under their jurisdiction, handle reports and criminal proceedings concerning cybercrime and other offenses committed through the use of information technology, the knowledge and experience gained during the training course will contribute both to the development of their professional capacities and to enhancing the operational efficiency of the respective units.
