In the result of investigative and other procedural actions conducted within the criminal case investigated in Armavir Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee circumstances of murder of wife’s parents committed by 44 year-old resident of Armavir region were found out.

As it was already informed, on April 22, 2022 during the argument on domestic matters 44 year-old resident of Metsamor community of Armavir region, for the purpose of illegal deprivation of life of his wife’s parents and brother, had fired several shots from the hunting gun of “MO-155” model registered in his name, towards them. As a result, his wife’s father had died of the bodily injuries he had received, her brother and mother had been taken to “Armavir” medical center.

During preliminary investigation it was found out that the mother of 44 year-old man’s wife died the next day in the medical center without regaining consciousness.

On the base of the obtained sufficient evidence charge was pressed against 44 year-old resident of Armavir region according to the Point 1 of the Part 2 of the Article 104 of RA Criminal Code. Detention was used as a pretrial measure against him.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
