In the framework of the criminal case investigated in the Investigative Division of Kentron and Norq-Marash administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of RA Investigative Committee active investigatory and procedural actions are ongoing to find all the circumstances of violence used against Smbat Hakobyan, as well as the circle of accomplices.

Taking the public interest into consideration we inform that the result of forensic medical examination appointed against Smbat Hakobyan was received according to which the degree of damages inflicted to him was assessed heavy.

According to the conclusion N 1739/հ of the expert “According to the medical documents and objective examination data Smbat Hakobyan’s damages were inflicted with blunt, hard objects causing heavy damage to health dangerous for life”.

Three persons were arrested on suspicion of using violence against S. Hakobyan.

Necessary investigatory and procedural actions are conducted to provide the comprehensive, complete and objective investigation of the case.
