In the course of the preliminary investigation of the criminal proceeding initiated in General Department for Investigation of Crimes against the State, Fundamentals of the Constitutional Order and Public Security of the RA Investigative Committee, factual data were obtained on the allegation that on January 8, 2025, V.S., using information and communication technologies, published a post on his Facebook page that incited and promoted hatred, intolerance, and hostility.

According to the expert examination report received on September 1, 2026, it was established that V.S.’s publication contains hate speech.

On September 29, by the supervising prosecutor’s decision, public criminal prosecution was initiated against V.S. according to the Point 3 of the Part 2 of the Article 329 of RA Criminal Code. 
He was arrested.
