As it was already informed, in the course of the preliminary investigation of the criminal proceeding on materially motivating numerous people and money laundering in particularly large amount, investigated in the Department for Investigation of General and Election-Related Crimes of General Department for Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of the RA Investigative Committee, public criminal prosecution was initiated against 6 MP candidates of “Strong Armenia” according to the Part 2 of the Article 46-236 and the Point 3 of the Part 3 of the Article 296 of RA Criminal Code.

Decisions on their arrest were issued, the fulfillment of which was assigned to the Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

In the course of the preliminary investigation 2 of the candidates were found and detention was applied as a pretrial measure against them.
