A criminal case initiated on shots fired at “Metaqs”

A criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Erebuni and Nubarashen administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee on firing shots at Erebuni administrative district on October 25 in the result of which four persons with firearm injuries were taken to hospital. Active investigatory, operative-intelligence measures are taken to find the circumstances of the case, as well as to identify the persons having committed the apparent crime.
On October 25 at 23:40 a report was received from “Erebuni” medical center informing that Vahag Gevorgyan, born in 1988, with a diagnosis of “penetrating firearm injury on the abdomen, internal bleeding” was taken to the medical center. He told that he had sustained the firearm injury at “Metaqs”.
On the night of October 26 three calls were received from the university hospital N 1 informing that Vladimir Gevorgyan, Arman Avagyan, born in 1988, Arman Srapionyan, born in 1984, were taken to hospital with firearm injuries.
Vl. Gevorgyan’s diagnosis was “damage of soft tissues on the right thigh in the result of a gunshot”, A. Avagyan’s diagnosis was “damage of sciatic nerve of the right thigh in the result of a gunshot”, A. Srapionyan’s diagnosis was “gunshot wound on the left foot”. According to the statements the mentioned persons sustained the injuries at “Metaqs”.
Through the site inspection 5 capsules of 9 mm caliber, 1 bullet of 7.62 mm caliber, 3 capsules, numerous particles of a bullet, blood traces were found, samples were taken.
A criminal case was initiated according to the Points 1, 6, 7 of the Part 2 of the Article 34-104 and the Part 1 of the Article 235 of RA Criminal Code.
Necessary investigatory actions are conducted to find the persons having committed the apparent crime.
