As it was already informed, exclusively as a result of the proper conduction of investigative actions and the combined assessment of the factual data obtained through them, as well as effective planning of the investigation conducted in the course of the preliminary investigation of the criminal proceeding investigated in Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee, it was found out and grounded that what was committed on January 21, 2022 was not a suicide, but a murder committed with prior agreement.

Particularly, it was found out that on January 21, 2022, I.A. did not throw himself from the window at 38/3 Mamikonyants Street, Yerevan, but was killed by the spouses E.M. and A.T., living with him. 

As a result of comprehensive investigation conducted in the course of the preliminary investigation, it was grounded that E.M. and A.T., with prior agreement, acting in a group, on January 21, 2022 willfully deprived I.A. of life, first causing bodily injuries threatening to life during the dispute, and then they threw him out of the kitchen window, killing him.

On March 24, 2026 by the prosecutor’s decision, public criminal prosecution was initiated against the spouses according to the Point 7 of the Part 2 of the Article 104 of RA Criminal Code adopted on 18.04.2003.

The criminal proceeding with the bill of indictment was sent to the prosecutor.
