On July 21, Artur Poghosyan, Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee, met with newly appointed investigators.

Collegium members were also present at the meeting.

Artur Poghosyan congratulated the newly appointed investigators and presented them with their certificates.

During the meeting the Chairman of the Investigative Committee emphasized the importance of investigators being fair, disciplined, and acting with integrity, presented what consistency they should demonstrate in their interactions with citizens, regardless of the nature of the issues raised by them, and what interpersonal relationships they should build within the staff.

Artur Poghosyan also addressed the ongoing personnel reforms within the Investigative Committee, noting that the position of investigator has become significantly more attractive in recent years. As a result, the Committee has been recruiting young, knowledgeable, and highly ethical personnel.

Artur Poghosyan noted in his speech that the staffing has also contributed to the efficiency of the preliminary investigation of criminal proceedings and the increase in the productivity of investigators.
