In the course of the preliminary investigation of the criminal proceeding initiated in Armavir Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee factual data were obtained on the allegation that on November 16, 2025, on the day of the local self-government elections in the enlarged community of Vagharshapat, S.D. and N. O., candidates registered in the electoral list of the “Victory” Alliance, having reached a prior agreement with alliance supporters S.Zh., G.Gh., and A.Kh., acted in coordination with one another and coerced a number of residents of the community into participating in the elections and voting for the “Victory” Alliance.

By the supervising prosecutor’s decision, in the course of the preliminary investigation public criminal prosecution was initiated against 5 individuals according to the Point 6 of the Part 2 of the Article 210 of RA Criminal Code. 

Alternative pretrial measures were applied against them. 

The criminal proceeding with the bill of indictment was referred to the supervising prosecutor.
