In the framework of the criminal case investigated in the Investigative Division of Avan and Nor Norq administrative districts of the RA Investigative Committee the person who had voted instead of another person in polling station N 2/06 was identified. On the base of the obtained evidence charge was pressed against the resident of Yerevan K. Ghazaryan.
 

Through preliminary investigation conducted in the framework of the criminal case it was found that during the referendum on Constitutional reforms held on December 6, 2016 the resident of Yerevan K. Ghazaryan went to polling station N 2/06  for the purpose of voting instead of another person, approached the commission member, presented a passport of the voter of the mentioned polling station R. Berezovski with false data, signed in the voter register before the latter’s name, received the polling ballot and cast into the ballot box thus voting instead of another person.   
 

On the base of the obtained evidence charge was pressed against K. Ghazaryan according to the Article 153 of RA Criminal Code.
 

Preliminary investigation of the criminal case is ongoing.
