Corruption-Related Offenses. First Half of 2026

In the first half of 2026 307 criminal proceedings regarding corruption-related offenses were investigated (compared to 508 in 2025), of which 193 proceedings had been transferred from 2025, while 114 were accepted for proceeding during 2026. 

21 of 307 criminal proceedings with respect to 47 individuals with the bill of indictment were referred to court (compared to 29 proceedings with respect to 72 individuals in 2025), 14 were terminated (compared to 71 in 2025), of which 8 on rehabilitative (41 in 2025), 6 on non-rehabilitative base (30 in 2025), 67 criminal proceedings were transferred to other investigative bodies (compared to 121 in 2025), 25 were consolidated with other proceedings (29 in 2025), 16 were registered as ones within which procedural and evidentiary actions were conducted (30 in 2025), 164 were transferred to the second half of 2026 (compared to 228 in 2025). 

The property damage caused within completed criminal proceedings regarding corruption-related offenses amounted to 247 million 36 thousand AMD, of which 19 million 940 thousand AMD was recovered during the pre-trial proceedings, and a ban was imposed to the property valued at 53 million 740 thousand AMD.
