During the first half of 2026 1.794 criminal proceedings regarding domestic violence were investigated in the Investigative Committee (1.482 compared to 2025), of which 712 had been transferred from 2025, and 1.082 were accepted for proceeding in 2026.

204 criminal proceedings with respect to 213 individuals with the bill of indictment were referred to court (157 proceedings with respect to 165 individuals in 2025), 6 criminal proceedings of medical coercion with a final decision were referred to court (5 in 2025), 345 criminal proceedings were terminated (390 in 2025), of which 323 on rehabilitative (256 in 2025), and 22 on non-rehabilitative base (34 in 225), 205 proceedings were consolidated (134 in 2025), 26 criminal proceedings were transferred to other investigative bodies (30 in 2025), 54 were registered as ones within which procedural and evidentiary actions were conducted (38 in 2025), 954 were transferred to 2026 (728 in 2025).

1 of the criminal proceedings referred to court was investigated on murder, 1 - on murder attempt, 1 - on causing to commit suicide, 2 - on inflicting heavy damage to health, 6 - on inflicting damage of medium gravity to health, 18 - on inflicting light damage to health, 1 - on kidnapping, 2 - on illegal deprivation of freedom, 11 - on psychological impact, 124 - on physical impact, 8 - against sexual freedom, 2 - on obstructing visitation between a parent or other close relative and a child, 1 - on failure to fulfill or improperly fulfill the duty of raising or caring for a child, 1 - on avoiding paying alimony, 11 - on failure to comply with an emergency intervention order or a protection order, 10 - on other crime cases.

150 of 213 accused within the criminal proceedings referred to court were spouses, 20 - partners, 15 - parents, a grandmother or a grandfather, 5 - a  sister or a brother, 16 - a child or a grandchild, 1 - a sister-in-law or a brother-in-law, 6 - a son-in-law or a daughter-in-law.

13 of 213 victims within the proceedings referred to court were up to 12, 3 - between 13 and 14, 5 - between 15 and 18, 192 - over 18.
