A criminal case was initiated in the Second Garrison Investigative Unit on murder of serviceman Hayk Kalantaryan committed by the enemy.

On February 7, 2018 at about 13:50 in the result of the shot fired by the enemy towards the combat base of protection area of the unit N serviceman Hayk Kalantaryan sustained a firearm injury on the head. The latter was taken to military hospital where he died at 19:10.

A criminal case was initiated in the Second Garrison Investigative Unit on murder out of motives of national, race or religious hate or fanatism. Preliminary investigation is conducted.
