On June 14, 2023 at about 11:30 out of racial, national, ethnic hatred, intolerance or hostility, in a way dangerous for many people’s life, with the intent to illegally deprive one or several persons of life, shots were fired from the combat positions of the rival towards the newly constructed factory, which is a civil facility, located in Yeraskh settlement of Ararat community of Ararat region.
 

In the result of the shots Muhamad Asif, born in 1983, and Mirhasan Sahajan, born in 1998, citizens of India, who were involved in the construction work in the mentioned factory, received firearm injuries. On the same day they were taken to Ararat medical center and received relevant medical aid.
 

With regard to the case a criminal proceeding was initiated in the Eighth Garrison Investigative Unit of General Military Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Points 7 and 15 of the Part 2 of the Article 44-155 of RA Criminal Code.
 

Investigation is underway. Inspection of the scene was conducted, forensic medical expertise were commissioned. Urgent evidentiary and procedural actions were conducted.
 

Decisions were made to commission forensic ballistic and forensic trace expertise, as well.
