From April to 7 June, 2026, as of 15:00, in the subdivisions of the RA Investigative Committee, 117 criminal proceedings have been initiated on electoral crimes, within the framework of which public criminal prosecution was initiated against 86 individuals.
Thus,
• 8 criminal proceedings were initiated according to the Article 210 of RA Criminal Code (impeding the exercise of the right to participate in an election or referendum, obstructing the work of electoral commissions or the exercise of the rights or obligations of persons participating in an election or referendum).
• 45 criminal proceedings were initiated according to the Article 211 of RA Criminal Code (coercing or refusing to engage in propaganda or otherwise obstructing the conduct of propaganda).
• 6 criminal proceedings were initiated according to the Article 214 of RA Criminal Code (voting more than once or on behalf of another person).
• 6 criminal proceedings were initiated according to the Article 215 of RA Criminal Code (violation of the secrecy of voting).
• 41 criminal proceedings were initiated according to the Article 236 of RA Criminal Code (obstructing or forcing the holding of or participation in a gathering, as well as inciting material interest in order to participate in or refuse to participate in a gathering).
• 9 criminal proceedings were initiated according to the Article 449 of RA Criminal Code (concealing information that hinders the acquisition or maintenance of the status of an official).
• 1 criminal proceeding was initiated according to the Articles 218 and 219 of RA Criminal Code (receiving and giving electoral bribes).
• 1 criminal proceeding was initiated according to the Article 221 of RA Criminal Code (violating the prohibition of charity during a referendum or election).
9 of 117 criminal proceedings on 16 individuals with the bill of indictment were sent to court.
Within the framework of all the above mentioned criminal proceedings numerous evidentiary and procedural actions were conducted, about 1200 individuals were questioned, about 280 searches were conducted.
