A criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Qanaqer-Zeytun administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of RA Investigative Committee on 38 year-old woman’s death, the suspect was arrested.
 

On July 4, 2015 at 04:05 a call was received in Police Station of Qanaqer-Zeytun from “Arabkir” substation of ambulance service informing that a body of a 38 year-old woman was found in one of the houses of Qanaqer 14 Street.
 

The investigatory-operative group headed by the Head of the Investigative Division of Qanaqer-Zeytun administrative district, Gevorg Simonyan left for the scene.
 

It was found that on July 4, 2015 at about 03:45 the husband argued with his wife Haykanush Sorsumatyan on domestic affairs. During the row he stabbed at the left frontal part of the latter’s chest with a kitchen knife willfully depriving her from life.
 

A criminal case was initiated according to the Part 1 of the Article 104 of RA Criminal Code. The husband was arrested on suspicion of murdering his wife.
