Necessary investigatory actions are conducted in Dilijan Investigative Division of Tavush Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee to find circumstances of 27 year-old young man’s murder. One person was arrested.

On August 5, 2017 at 20:10 a call was received from “Dilijan’s Medical Center” ambulance center CJSC informing that the resident of Dilijan town Artur Yeganyan, born in 1990, with a bodily injury inflicted with a sharp cutting-piercing item at the abdomen area was taken to medical center where he died. On the same day two more men – the victim’s father Artak Yeganyan and H. Gulanyan, born in 1978, were taken to medical center.

A criminal case was initiated in the RA IC Dilijan Investigative Division of Tavush Regional Investigative Department according to the Part 1 of the Article 104 of RA Criminal Code. Investigatory and other procedural actions of great volume were conducted to find all circumstances of the case.  

As a result, data were obtained on the allegation that on August 5, 2017 27 year-old A. Yeganyan with his father took part in the neighbor’s funeral then in funeral repast. After the ceremony a row erupted during which bodily injury with a knife incompatible with life was inflicted to 27 year-old young man.

The suspect was arrested.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
