The criminal case initiated in Central Police Division according to the Part 1 of the Article 34-104 of RA Criminal Code on murder attempt committed in Yerevan was received for production in the Second Investigative Division of Kentron and Nork-Marash administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee.  

On December 14, 2021 at 12:17 a call was received from a medical center informing that 23 year-old resident of Yerevan with cut-pierced injuries was taken to them.

The mentioned young man was found the injured party. Inspection of the scene was conducted, the videos captured by the cameras located at the scene were examined, witnesses were questioned, forensic medical examination was commissioned.

In the result of urgent measures a number of circumstances were found out, the person having committed the alleged crime was identified; he is 21 year-old resident of Yerevan.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing. Measures are taken to find out all circumstances, to provide the objective and comprehensive investigation of the case.

The relevant subdivision of the RA Police was assigned to take measures to find 21 year-old man and bring him to the investigative body.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
