Necessary investigatory and other procedural actions are conducted in the Investigative Division of Shengavit administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee to find out circumstances of 5 year-old child’s death in medical center.

On October 27, 2018 a report was received from a citizen informing that his son, born in 2013, was in coma in medical center and on October 27, 2018 he died without regaining consciousness.

According to the citizen’s report the child’s death was caused by doctors’ careless treatment, as well as wrong treatment and improper implementation of their professional duties.

A criminal case was initiated in Shengavit Division of the Police according to the Part 2 of the Article 130 of RA Criminal Code which was received in the proceeding of the Investigative Division of Shengavit administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee.

Forensic medical examination was commissioned. Necessary measures are taken to find out all circumstances of the child’s death.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
