In the course of the preliminary investigation of the criminal proceeding initiated in Lori Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee on obstructing the campaign of the "Civil Contract" party in the settlements of Norashen and Metsavan committed by a group of "Strong Armenia" supporters on May 16, 2026, public criminal prosecution was initiated against one more person according to the Point 5 of the Part 2 of the Article 211 of RA Criminal Code. 

In the course of the preliminary investigation S.S. was arrested and a motion to apply detention as a pretrial measure against him was submitted to court.

It should be recalled that during the preliminary investigation of the criminal proceeding public criminal prosecution was initiated against 12 individuals. Detention was applied as a pretrial measure against 6 of them, and home detention – against the other 6.
