As a result of investigative and evidentiary actions conducted within the framework of the criminal proceeding initiated in Gegharkunik Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee, it was found out and grounded that during the dispute that took place on February 21, 2026, behind the store located in Sevan town, with the intent to unlawfully deprive A.Kh. of life, minors A.M. and N.M. hit A.Kh. with hands and feet, as well as a knife on different parts of his body, thus killing him. 

Besides, A.M. illegally procured and kept a knuckle weapon classified as a blunt-force cold weapon, which was found through the latter’s personal search. 

In the course of the preliminary investigation, by the prosecutor’s decision, public criminal prosecution was initiated against N.M. according to the Part 1 of the Article 155 of RA Criminal Code, against A.M. according to the Part 1 of the Article 155 and the Part 1 of the Article 334 of RA Criminal Code. 

Detention was applied as a pretrial measure against them. 

The criminal proceeding with the bill of indictment was sent to the prosecutor for approval and referral to court.
