Preliminary investigation of the criminal proceeding initiated with regard to the case of causing strong physical pain and strong mental sufferance to a minor committed by a kindergarten teacher at the Pokr Vedi village kindergarten, was completed in Ararat Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee. 

In the course of the preliminary investigation of the criminal proceeding factual data were obtained on the allegation that the kindergarten teacher of the Pokr Vedi village kindergarten, having not been able to put up with and tolerate the child's active behavior for a long time, with the intention of causing strong physical pain and strong mental sufferance to the helpless minor, first dragged the child in the kindergarten's bedroom, then hit him on the head, after which hit him again in order to forcibly silence his crying.

By the supervising prosecutor’s decision, public criminal prosecution was initiated against the kindergarten teacher according to the Point 3 of the Part 2 of the Article 196 of RA Criminal Code. 

The criminal proceeding with the bill of indictment was sent to the supervising prosecutor.
