As a result of investigative and procedural actions conducted, as well as operational-intelligence measures taken by the officers of the RA National Security Service within the framework of the criminal proceeding investigated in the Department for Investigation of Crimes on Human Trafficking, against Sexual Immunity of Juveniles and Illegal Turnover of Drugs of General Department for Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of the RA Investigative Committee, factual data were obtained on the allegation that S.P. in prior agreement with his relative H.P. left for the location specified by a user involved in drug trafficking through Telegram and took 10 kilograms of drugs of “Marijuana” type from the hiding place. However, they failed to complete the commission of the crime due to circumstances beyond their control, as they were apprehended by the officers of the RA National Security Service.

Through the search conducted in S.P.’s apartment in the course of the preliminary investigation, drug of “Marijuana” type unlawfully acquired for the purpose of distribution, as well as electronic scales, self-adhesive tape, and polyethylene packages, were discovered and confiscated. 

By the prosecutor’s decision, public criminal prosecution was initiated against S.P. according to the Point 2 of the Part 3 of the Article 44-393, the Part 1 of the Article 393 of RA Criminal Code, against H.P. - according to the Point 2 of the Part 3 of the Article 44-393 of RA Criminal Code. 

Detention was applied as a pretrial measure against them. 

The criminal proceeding with the bill of indictment was referred to the supervising prosecutor for approval and referral to court.
