In the course of the preliminary investigation of the criminal proceeding investigated in Shirak Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee factual data were obtained on the allegation that on June 20, 2025 in front of Haghtanak Avenue 1/1 K.G. together with a group of people argued with V.K.. during which, as a member of the group, he displayed disrespectful behavior toward society by using a firearm that he was unlawfully carrying, uttering sexually explicit insults and obscene expressions. 

Subsequently, during the altercation, 2 to 3 shots were fired, as a result of which the normal operation of a public facility was disrupted and the employees of the food service establishment experienced a sense of fear.

In addition, K.G., together with a group of people, acting in concert and complementing each other’s actions, used physical violence against V.K., namely, struck him on various parts of his body, thereby causing him physical pain.

In the course of the preliminary investigation, by the supervising prosecutor’s decision, public criminal prosecution was initiated against K.G. according to the Point 5 of the Part 2 of the Article 195, the Part 3 of the Article 297, and the Part 1 of the Article 334 of RA Criminal Code, and against V.K. - according to the Part 1 of the Article 195, the Part 3 of the Article 297, and the Part 1 of the Article 335 of RA Criminal Code. 

On June 19 K.G., who was wanted by law enforcement authorities, was brought to Shirak Regional Investigative Department. The following day, detention was applied as a pretrial measure against him, which was subsequently replaced by alternative pretrial measures pursuant to a court decision.

The criminal proceeding with respect to K.G. with the bill of indictment was referred to the supervising prosecutor. 

It should be noted that the criminal proceeding with respect to the other defendant was referred to court on March 4.
