Preliminary investigation of the criminal proceeding regarding the abuse of official powers by the former director of “Ajapnyak” Aesthetic Center CNCO was completed in General Department on Special Assignments of the RA Investigative Committee. 

In the course of the preliminary investigation factual data were obtained on the allegation that N.A. serving as the director of the “Ajapnyak” Aesthetic Center CNCO under the jurisdiction of the Yerevan Municipality, from March 27 to September 6, 2021, issued orders prepared by himself establishing salaries for both himself and several employees of the CNCO that exceeded the applicable pay rates.

N.A.’s unlawful actions caused substantial damage to the legitimate interests of the community, in particular by disrupting the normal functioning of the community and depriving it of the opportunity to use the aforementioned funds for their intended purpose. As a result, the community sustained property damage in particularly large amount of 9 million 784 thousand 341 AMD.

At the stage of the preliminary investigation, by the supervising prosecutor’s decision, public criminal prosecution was initiated against N.A. according to the Point 5 of the Part 2 of the Article 441of RA Criminal Code. 

The criminal proceeding with the bill of indictment was referred to the supervising prosecutor.
