On April 15, 2020, at about 22:00 a row erupted in an apartment of Vardashen Street of Erebuni and Nubarashen community during which 62 year-old man stabbed 48 year-old man, living with him in the same apartment, on his abdomen and chest causing heavy damage dangerous for life.

A criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Erebuni and Nubarashen administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA investigative Committee according to the Part 1 of the Article 112 (willful infliction of heavy bodily damage) of RA Criminal Code.

In the result of urgent investigatory and other procedural actions 62 year-old man was found and arrested on suspicion of apparent infliction of willful heavy damage to health.

Inspection of the scene with his participation was conducted during which he presented the knife which was the crime tool.

Forensic medical, forensic genetic, forensic criminological, forensic trace examinations were commissioned.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
