In the course of the preliminary investigation of the criminal proceeding initiated in Kotayk Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee on illegal hunting of a wild animal or bird, a total of 190 taxidermy specimens of various animals and birds, as well as three lions and one tiger, were seized from a mansion owned by G.Ts. The items and animals were recognized as physical evidence, and the lions and tiger were transferred to the Zoo.

As a result of illegal hunting, damage in the amount of 30 million AMD was caused to the environment. 

The other animals kept at G.Ts.'s mansion are expected to be seized and placed in responsible custody in the coming days.
