Through Investigation it was Found out that what had Happened was Murder but not Sudden Death. Individual Detained

On July 22, 2026 a report was received in the Investigative Division of Ajapnyak and Davtashen administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee, informing that the emergency medical team dispatched to the scene on the same day in response to a report of a person having lost consciousness confirmed the death of N.R.

As a result of large-scale investigative and procedural actions conducted, as well as operative-intelligence measures taken by the police officers of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs, it was found out that what had happened was not a sudden death but a murder.
Particularly, it was found out that during an altercation over financial matters at 4, Sisakyan Street, Yerevan, the man fatally assaulted the victim by striking him. He then called the emergency medical service and falsely reported that the victim had lost consciousness.

According to the preliminary diagnosis given by the forensic expert, the victim's death was caused by shock resulting from blunt-force, closed injuries to the head, neck, and chest. 

On the base of the obtained factual data, the investigator submitted a motion to the supervising prosecutor to initiate a public criminal prosecution against the person who had committed the alleged crime, according to the Part 1 of the Article 155 of RA Criminal Code. It was sufficed. 

Detention was applied as a pretrial measure against him. 

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
