1 Billion 800 Million AMD of Damage Caused to State Recovered
As a result of large-scale procedural actions conducted in the course of preliminary investigation of the criminal proceeding investigated in General Department for Investigation of Economic Crimes and Smuggling of the RA Investigative Committee, as well as complex operative-intelligence measures taken by the employees of the RA State Revenue Committee, factual data were obtained on the allegation that the business entity had not provided cash register receipts and had not issued tax invoices when making sales, and had entered distorted data in tax calculations. As a result, particularly large amounts of taxes were not paid to the state budget.
On the base of the sufficient evidence obtained in the course of preliminary investigation of the criminal proceeding public criminal prosecution was initiated against the company director and 3 individuals according to the Point 2 of the Part 3 of the Article 290 of RA Criminal Code.
In the course of preliminary investigation 1 billion 800 million AMD of the damage caused to the state has been recovered.
