Arthur Poghosyan Presented the Investigative Committee's Annual Budget Execution Report for 2024

On June 6, 2025 Artur Poghosyan presented the Investigative Committee's annual budget execution report for 2024 at the joint session of the NA Standing Committees on Defense and Security, and Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs.

The Investigative Committee was allocated 18.9 billion AMD from the RA state budget for 2024, about 16.8 billion AMD of which was spent.

Artur Poghosyan noted that compared to 2023, the expenses of the Investigative Committee has increased by 8.6% or 1.3 billion AMD. The increase is mainly due to the increase in the number of staff of General Department for Investigation of Crimes against the State, Fundamentals of the Constitutional Order and Public Security, and the creation of «Expert Forensic Center of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia» SNPO.

Artur Poghosyan presented 7 events implemented within the framework of “Investigative Services” program, emphasizing that the main part of the budget financing, about 17.6 billion AMD, was allocated to the "Implementation of Criminal Proceedings" event, the performance of which amounted to 15.5 billion AMD.
