As a result of evidentiary actions conducted, as well as operative-intelligence measures taken jointly with the Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs within the framework of the criminal proceeding investigated in Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee, it was found out that the member of the Council of Elders of Gyulagarak community, V.A., who was included in the electoral list of the “Strong Armenia” party, through his actions assisted in materially motivating a number of individuals to participate in a gathering, organized by the leader of the “Strong Armenia” party or by persons acting on the latter’s behalf, who carried out and coordinated the functions of the party leader.

Particularly, on April 11, 2026 for the purpose of coercing participation in the upcoming gathering organized by the ‘Strong Armenia’ party, persons acting on behalf of the leader of the “Strong Armenia” party, who carried out and coordinated the functions of the party leader, in order to ensure the participation of a number of residents of Lori region, materially motivated them providing each of them with 3000 AMD, in this way coercing them to participate in the organized gathering. 

V.A., having been informed about the described criminal act, assisted the leader of the “Strong Armenia” party, or persons acting on the latter’s behalf, carrying out and coordinating the functions of the party leader, by providing advice, supplying means, and removing obstacles: namely, he coordinated the recruitment of residents of Lori region, their transportation to Yerevan, provision of food, and provision of promised money, thereby contributing to the commission of the crime.  

Public criminal prosecution was initiated against V.A. according to the Part 2 of the Article 46-236 of RA Criminal Code. 

Home detention and absence ban was applied as a pretrial measure against him.
