Banditry Committed in Vanadzor Months ago Disclosed
On September 27, 2019 at about 07:00 at the area adjacent to the house located in Z. Andranik Street of Vanadzor for the purpose of capturing somebody else’s property masked people assaulted the resident of the same town and using violence not dangerous for life stole money in particularly large amount – 30.000 USD.
A criminal case was initiated in Lori Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Point 1 of the Part 3 of the Article 175 (banditry) of RA Criminal Code.
In the result of investigatory actions and operative-intelligence measures two of those having committed the alleged crime were identified; one of them was arrested on suspicion of committing the mentioned crime, search was declared against the other.
Preliminary investigation is ongoing. Necessary measures are taken to identify others having committed the alleged crime and to find them.
Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
