The Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee Hayk Grigoryan received today the delegation headed by Deputy Head of General Organization of Control in the sphere of Control of Economic Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran Ali Farhad.

RA IC Chairman assessed highly the close cooperation between the Investigative Committee and IRI General Organization of Control which is based on Memorandum of Understanding formerly signed between the two bodies.

The Chairman of the Investigative Committee assured that the Armenian party will not spare efforts in deepening the close cooperation with IRI law enforcement bodies.

Deputy Head of IRI General Organization of Control in the sphere of Control of Economic Affairs Ali Farhad thanked Hayk Grigoryan for warm reception.   

During the meeting Ali Farhad presented the functions of their organization and told about willingness to deepen cooperation with the RA Investigative Committee.

During the meeting issues on the process of certain criminal cases involving IRI citizens in the territorial investigative subdivisions of the RA Investigative Committee were discussed.

The Chairman of the Investigative Committee told that the criminal cases involving IRI citizens are in the spotlight and by his instruction an employee of RA IC General Department of Control over Activity of Territorial Investigative Departments gives IRI Embassy in Armenia the information about each criminal case on a daily basis.

During the meeting the parties also attached importance to the issue of organizing the information exchange during preliminary investigation of criminal cases in a more operative way.
