On June 15, 2023 at about 13։00-13:30 out of racial, national, ethnic hatred, intolerance or hostility, with the intent to illegally deprive of life, shots were fired from the combat positions of the rival located in front of Hakari Bridge towards the servicemen of the RA border guard military unit.
 

As a result, serviceman of the border guard troops of the RA National Security Service Arthur Azroyan received firearm bodily injuries on the hand and abdomen. The latter was taken to medical center.
 

It was also found out that while taking the above-mentioned serviceman out, as a result of the shot fired from the rival’s combat position, the body armor of the serviceman-driver of the car, showing medical aid to the injured serviceman, was torn. The serviceman received a light scratch, physical pain. After being shown first medical aid at the scene the serviceman did not feel the need for further medical care.
 

With regard to the mentioned facts two separate criminal proceedings were initiated in the Ninth Garrison Investigative Unit of General Military Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Points 1 and 15 of the Part 2 of the Article 44-155 of RA Criminal Code.
 

Preliminary investigation is conducted within the framework of which necessary urgent investigative and procedural actions are conducted.
