The dynamic of the criminal proceedings on crimes investigated on domestic violence in 2022 has been summed up at the RA Investigative Committee.
Particularly, in 2022 960 criminal proceedings on domestic violence have been investigated in the proceeding of the RA Investigative Committee.
122 of the mentioned proceedings have been completed with a bill of indictment and on 126 persons have been sent to court, 301 criminal proceedings have been terminated 150 of which on rehabilitative, 151 – on non-rehabilitative base. 383 criminal proceedings have passed to 2023.
Out of the proceedings sent to court
- 9 have been on murder,
- 1 - on infliction of heavy damage to health,
- 3 - on infliction of damage of medium gravity to health,
- 1 - on kidnapping,
- 1 - violent sexual actions,
- 2 - on sexual acts with a person under 16,
- 5 - on infliction of light damage to health,
- 25 - on physical impact,
- 3 - on causing strong physical pain or strong mental sufferance,
- 1 - on hindering to visits of parent or other close relative to the child,
- 3 - on avoiding paying alimony,
- 68 - on other crimes.
108 of 125 accused within the criminal proceedings sent to court have been spouses, 4 – grandmother or grandfather, 5 – sister or brother, 8 – son/daughter or grandson/granddaughter.
Criminal prosecution has not been conducted on rehabilitative bases or criminal prosecution has been terminated against 125 persons.
