On March 27, 2021 at 15:53 a call was received in Kumayri Police Division from ambulance station of Gyumri informing that there was a man’s body on the stairs of one of the houses in Yerevan highway of Gyumri.

Through inspection of the scene the body of 25 year-old resident of the same house was found in the mentioned address with his face to the ground.

A criminal case was initiated in Shirak Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Part 1 of the Article 104 (murder) of RA Criminal Code conduction of preliminary investigation of which was assigned to the investigative group.

A number of investigative actions were conducted, the clothes of the victim were confiscated, forensic medical examination of the body was commissioned, a number of people were questioned.

Measures are taken to find out all circumstances of the case, to identify the person having committed the alleged crime.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
