Issues on raising efficiency of organization of preliminary investigation discussed at board session of RA Investigative Committee (Photos)
Board session was held today in the RA Investigative Committee which was chaired by the Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee Aghvan Hovsepyan.
The board members, heads Central office and territorial subdivisions of the RA Investigative Committee, advisors to the Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee took part in the session.
With the purpose of raising the efficiency of organization of preliminary investigation the state of planning investigation of criminal cases, causes of delaying deadlines of preliminary investigation of cases on traffic crimes with death outcome, acquittal verdicts made by RA courts in 2016 were planned within work program of 2017 and studied the results of which were discussed in today’s session of the RA Investigative Committee.
Acting Head of Department of Support to Investigation of Criminal Cases of the RA Investigative Committee H. Ghukasyan, Deputy Head of General Department of Control over Activity of Territorial Investigative Departments of the RA Investigative Committee G. Ispiryan, senior investigator of Organizational-Analytical Division G. Mkrtchyan came out with the reports on the above mentioned subjects.
In the result of discussions the Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee A. Hovsepyan gave specific instructions to make the investigation planning of criminal cases more efficient, to organize the preliminary investigation of criminal cases within reasonable timeframe drawing special attention to the steps taken to reduce the deadlines of conduction of forensic examinations.
