Today, on July 28, the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia Argishti Kyaramyan received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Armenia Sergey Kopyrkin. During the meeting, issues related to cooperation between law enforcement agencies of the two countries were discussed.

Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia Argishti Kyaramyan expressed hope that the established cooperation will gain momentum and expand in the future.

During the long-term cooperation, joint activities were carried out that contributed to the increase in the effectiveness of international legal assistance, mutually provided in criminal cases.

Argishti Kyaramyan also stressed the importance of continuing fruitful cooperation in the fight against crime.

Ambassador Kopyrkin, expressing gratitude for the warm welcome, congratulated Argishti Kyaramyan on his appointment.

The Ambassador, in turn, highly appreciating the contacts between the law enforcement agencies of the two countries, emphasized the readiness of the Russian Embassy in Armenia to promote the development of interrelation between investigative bodies.

Concluding the meeting, the parties agreed to continue and expand regular discussions on agenda issues.
